Thank you for your interest in Hope Church- We are a church family in transition!
Rev. Todd Johnson resigned recently after serving as its founding pastor for thirteen years. Despite losing our lead pastor, Hope remains committed to her foundational purpose of finding hope in Jesus and extending hope to others. Our leaders are grateful for the many members who continue to tirelessly devote their time and energy to keeping our ministries moving forward, ensuring that Hope strives to be a haven of Christ-centered worship and warm fellowship rooted in the Word of God. We long to bless the Crozet community in word and deed.
Toward the end of electing a pastoral search committee to find its next lead pastor, the elders have formed a "transition team" tasked with creating a church profile and pastor profile. The transition team sought input from the congregation for these profiles, as well as many suggestions for the leadership to consider regarding Hope's vitality and mission. Hope has enlisted the services of an interim pastor, Rev. Mike Sharrett, who has served many other churches in transition. He shares preaching responsibilities with our elders and pastors within our presbytery.
We invite you to explore Hope during our transition. Join us as we care for one another and anticipate God working in wonderful ways to show his immeasurable grace in Jesus.
